Local church helps people enroll in health insurance exchange

Saturday is the first day for open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act. A local church organization, Greater New Birth partnered with Molina Healthcare to help enroll those in need. They also provided free flu shots and food for those that might need it. Pastor Jessie Griffin thinks there's a need they're tapping into.

\"We're just trying to meet the needs of the community,\" Griffin said.

Molina Healthcare had people on hand to assist with ACA enrollment.

\"They're very well read, they know what's going on, they know how to get people enrolled,\" Griffin said. \"They're taking their time to really explain thing to people in the community.\"

Griffin said he hopes to partner for more of these events in the future.
