NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's back to school for most Wisconsin kids today and some local moms are celebrating after a long summer!
Matty's Bar and Grille in New Berlin offered free mimosas and drink specials to moms today for what they call "guilt free" day drinking.
There were also food specials during the event they called "Mom's First Day of School Day Drink."
"I sent my kindergartner to school for the first time all day long. It was a little sad. There were a few tears but we made it," said Jenny Peterson.
"I see a lot of smiles on mom's faces around here. I even see some dads out here having a good time. So I think we've succeeded in making it really fun," said Riitta Kulinski, Marketing Director for Matty's Bar.
The bar promised to get moms sobered up or find them a safe ride home by the time the bus dropped off the kids.
