A shocker in South America.
FIFA suspended Argentinian soccer star Lionel Messi for four matches and fined him more than $10,000 for directing insulting words at an assistant referee.
Messi expressed his displeasure with that referee in a match last Thursday when Argentina played against Chile.
He will miss four of Argentina's five remaining World Cup qualifiers.
