Light snow hits Southeast Wisconsin during morning commute

An Alberta Clipper is moving through southern Wisconsin this morning with light snow, followed by strong winds.  This steady light snow will affect the morning commute, although most locations will only receive a dusting to an inch 7am and 10am.  By late morning the light snow tapers off to flurries.  Even though these are light amounts expect significant delays during the morning commute. \"\"

Flurries continue through the afternoon with winds increasing from the west and northwest.  Wind gusts to 35 mph create blowing snow through the afternoon and early evening hours.  High temps reach the mid to upper 20s with another shot of cold air arriving Wednesday night into Thursday.

Meteorologists Rebecca Schuld, Mark McGinnis and Lance Hill are tracking the storm with frequent updates on www.CBS58.com and CBS 58.
