Legalize Marijuana Summit in Milwaukee

Milwaukee -- More than sixty people gathered to discuss the legalization of Marijuana in Wisconsin, Saturday.

The Greater Milwaukee Green Party hosted the event at Linneman's Pub in the Riverwest neighborhood.

\"If we look across our country and around the world, how things are changing, it's so important to get a grip on this,\" explained Organizer George Martin.

The group talked about medical access, decriminalization and legalization in Wisconsin.  Recently bills related to legalizing medical marijuana or it's components have been introduced in the state legislature but it's unclear exactly what the future holds.

\"Whether it's medical or legalization there's a fit for both and here we need to find that way to work with each other,\" said Martin.
