Lead Water Filters Available

People living in Milwaukee who are concerned about lead in their water can pick up filters from the city Tuesday.

The city says the filters should last about a year and are free to those who have lead in their water.

They recommend children who live in a home with lead pipes get tested for lead poisoning.

You can pick up the filters at the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center today and tomorrow.

For more information, head to the Health Center website here.
