Lead Testing Done By Local Clinic

Spring cleaning can stir up a lot of dust and some of that dust could have lead.

The Sixteenth Street Clinic uses a special vacuum to first suck up any lead paint chips and dust that may contain lead. They are focused on old homes built before 1950 that are at high risk for lead paint.

After they clean up all the possible dangerous chips they then test children under 6 for lead poisoning levels. The program is free for some families, just call the sixteenth street clinic to learn more.
