MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two Wisconsin lawmakers introduce a bill in Washington to manage and prevent the spread of chronic wasting disease.
US Representatives Ron Kind and Jim Sensenbrenner say their goal is to support more researching learning about the disease.
The bill would also support methods to control the spread of the disease.
According to the Wisconsin DNR, more than 1,000 deer tested positive for the disease in 19 counties last year.
