MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a double shooting that took place Monday, June 12 near Wells and Vel R. Phillips Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.

Around 10:30 p.m., police say a 21-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital for non-fatal injuries while a 38-year-old man from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma arrived at a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Police believe the shooting may be related to a robbery. 

The 21-year-old man, along with two 17-year-old men, were taken into custody.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
