VILLAGE OF BUTLER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating after a road rage incident led to shots fired outside of Butler Village Hall Friday, July 30.
Authorities say it happened around 2:47 p.m. near 126th and Hampton.
An initial investigation indicates that two vehicles were involved in a moving road rage incident, beginning in Milwaukee and traveling westbound on W. Hampton Avenue into the Village of Butler.
Police say at some point during the interaction, a minor collision occurred between the two vehicles involved.
They say both vehicles stopped outside of Butler Village Hall and at least one shot was fired.
No one is believed to be injured at this time, and officials say there is no ongoing danger to the public.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is leading an investigation.
