Lake Express Ferry Offering One Free Round Trip Ticket for Each Donated Bicycle
Lake Express Ferry and the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective are teaming up on Earth Day to raise awareness of “green” travel and to make more bikes available to Milwaukee residents by collecting gently-used bicycles.
Each donor who brings a bike to the Lake Express terminal April 22 will receive a complimentary round-trip passenger ticket for travel on the Lake Express Ferry. There will be a limit of one ticket per donor.
“Thanks to the efforts of the Milwaukee Bike Collective, last year’s bike drive provided benefits not only to residents in the Milwaukee community but also in Chicago and overseas. We are proud of the program’s growth and pleased to continue this partnership now in its 6th year.” said Aaron Schultz, vice president of marketing of Lake Express.
To donate a bicycle to the Milwaukee Bike Collective in exchange for one round-trip ticket for the Lake Express Ferry, donors can bring their gently-used bicycles to the Lake Express Ferry terminal located at 2330 S. Lincoln Memorial Drive between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Friday.
