Knight injured as Bucks drop season opener

NEW YORK - It took fewer than two minutes of regular season play for a Bucks player to suffer an on-court injury.

Brandon Knight strained his right hamstring early in the first quarter, leaving the game for good in a 90-83 loss to the Knicks in New York.

Gary Neal filled in after Knight left the game, scoring 16 points to lead the Bucks. Racine native Caron Butler scored 14 in his first regular season game as a Buck.

The Bucks head to Boston Friday before playing their first home game of the season Saturday against the Raptors.
