Kewaskum man arrested after allegedly firing a gun while intoxicated

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 46-year-old Town of Kewaskum man was arrested for endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office received multiple calls regarding rapid gunfire beginning at 10:53 p.m. on Tuesday in the 8200 block of Prospect Drive.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the man who admitted to shooting a .223 rifle.
The man showed signs of intoxication and failed sobriety testing.
He was taken into custody and charges are pending.
