KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police say they recovered 2.5 grams of crack laced with fentanyl while executing a search warrant near 61st and 24th Avenue Tuesday, July 12.

Authorities say the suspect -- a felon in possession of a privately manufactured firearm -- was arrested and is currently in jail.

Kenosha police shared the news on social media Tuesday, just hours after announcing the death of a 14-year-old on July 2 to a fentanyl overdose

Officials are urging the community to come together and contact Crime Stoppers with any information at 262-656-7333.
