Kenosha Police: 1 shot, 1 beaten during 50-person fight at 'after bar' party

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha Police Department is currently investigating an incident that left two men injured.

According to police, one man was shot and another man was beaten following an 'after bar' party in Kenosha.

The incidents happened in the 4900 block of 36th Avenue around 4:25 a.m. on Sunday.

According to police, between 50 and 60 people were gathered when someone fired shots.

Police say it's unknown if the person who fired the shots was aiming at anyone.

One of those shots hit a man in his mid-30's. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg.

During the party, a fight also broke out. One man was beaten during that fight.

It is believed that both incidents happened at the same 'after bar' party.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
