Kenosha County Sheriff deputies respond to numerous crashes due to winter storm

KENOSHA COUNTY (CBS 58) --- Kenosha County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to numerous weather and traffic-related calls Monday, Feb. 15.

Beginning at 4 p.m. through Tuesday Feb. 16 at noon, Kenosha County experienced a winter storm warning.

During this time, deputies responded to three crashes with injuries, 13 property-damage crashes, and 90 assist motorists calls.

There are currently no road closures in Kenosha County due to the storm.

"Our deputies were able to keep up with the calls for service and did an excellent job serving the people of Kenosha County," Sgt. David Wright said. "The roadways were dangerous, and we are thankful that none of the accidents involved life-threatening injuries."
