Keeping it quiet, weatherwise, for the first week of August

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--After an active start to the week, at least for some of us with some heavy rain, we all can enjoy some quieter times for a bit.  Look for a mixture of sun and clouds today and Wednesday. 

One of our in-house computer models is hinting at some scattered showers and thunder just west of the area on Thursday.  The question is how will it affect us?  The CBS 58 Ready Weather team is still fine tuning the forecast so keep checking back. 

Meantime, there looks to be a better chance for showers and thunder, especially for the second part of the weekend.  Expect an increase in heat and humidty as well at that time with readings in the 80s for highs.
