KC and the Sunshine Band to headline Festa Italiana
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Festa Italiana is bringing KC and the Sunshine Band as a headliner of this year's festival. The Grammy Award-winning band will headline on Saturday, July 20 at 9 p.m.
Celebrating 40 years of getting people on the dance floor, KC and the Sunshine Band defined the sound of the 1970s and is hailed as one of the decade’s most progressive bands, creating a groove that still resonates in modern pop music. The unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of Latin percussion, resulted in an impressive string of hits like “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “Shake Your Booty.”
Festa Italiana takes place Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21, at the Summerfest Grounds. Tickets are on sale for $10 now through July 18 and then $13 after July 18 and at the gate.
