K9 Justice back to work after recovering from stabbing

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department released new video of K9 officer Justice Friday.

K9 Justice is back to work after recovering from stab wounds sustained during a stand-off in Waukesha on June 4.

Deputies thanked everyone who offered their support for the K9.

They say they're overwhelmed by the response from the community.

"He had a couple of days off and kind of just let him be a regular dog for a little bit -- made sure he was healthy and able to come back to work," Deputy Thompson said. "We responded to hundreds of text messages, phone calls and Facebook conversations just to see how he was doing.
