Juvenile Arrested for Making Threat at a West Allis School

A juvenile male was arrested on Wednesday for making a threat at Lincoln Intermediate School on Tuesday.

According to West Allis Police, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning.

West Allis Police Department was notified of a written bomb threat at Lincoln Intermediate School, located at 7815 W. Lapham St.

The threat indicated there was a bomb in the building. School officials evacuated students to a safe location.

West Allis officers responded to the school to assist with the evacuation.

The WAPD and the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District work closely on a regular basis to ensure the safety of students within West Allis-West Milwaukee Schools. WAPD officers were assisted by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and Bomb Unit in searching the school. No explosives or devices were located as a result of the search.

Officers and detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding this threat and identified a suspect.

On Wednesday, West Allis officers arrested a juvenile male for making the threat. This incident will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office.
