MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The NEWaukee Night Market and River Rhythms concert planned for June 12 have been canceled due to expected rain Wednesday evening.
Organizers with NEWaukee say the decision to cancel the June Night Market was difficult and apologizes for the inconvenience. The next NEWaukee Night Market will take place on W. Wisconsin Ave. between Plankinton and Vel R. Phillips Ave on July 10, 2019, from 5:00-10:00 p.m. For more information about the Night Market, please visit www.newaukee.com.
The River Rhythms concert featuring Bad Medicine scheduled for June 12 at Pere Marquette Park in downtown Milwaukee has been canceled.
The Westown Association says the Bad Medicine performance at Pere Marquette Park will not be rescheduled but River Rhythms will continue next week Wednesday, June 19th with R & B band, Shotgun. The free concert series takes place from 6:30 – 9 p.m. every Wednesday until August 28th in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third Street between State and Kilbourn.
