Job fair held for veterans Friday at VA Medical Center

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Veterans looking for work got some valuable help at a job fair Friday at the VA Medical Center.

More than 50 employers were on hand to talk to the vets about their futures and what they could contribute.

One Milwaukee County official says they can contribute a lot.

"Military service of any kind molds a person certain ways. It creates a sense of dependability, of accountability, of doing things on time of appreciation for the quality of work that needs to be done," said Jim Duff, Milwaukee County Veterans Service Officers.

The job fair was from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on March 30. For information about future events being held by the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, please click here.
