Jimmy Johns Robbed near Marquette University

The Marquette University Police Department and Milwaukee Police Department are investigating an armed robbery to a business that occurred Friday night around 10:30 PM.

The incident happened at the Jimmy Johns located in the 1500 block of W. Wells Street.

According to Marquette University Police, an unknown suspect entered the business, implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect got the money from the register and fled westbound on W. Wells Street. 

No employees were injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a man in his middle 40s about 200 pounds and six feet tall with a close cropped haircut wearing a black jacket, brown scarf and glasses. At the time of the robbery he had a mustache.

The Milwaukee Police Department responded and is investigating.
