In a Facebook Post, Jefferson County is hoping the public can help them figure out who is placing explosive devices in trash cans.

Over the last several weeks county employees have found park receptacles and private residence trans cans in parks that were destroyed by explosive devices.

The Parks Department is reminding the public that it is illegal and extremely dangerous to place anything other than trash in the receptacles.
