'It's morphin' time!': Mayfair hosts 'Power Rangers: Power Up!' tour in April

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Mayfair shopping center in Wauwatosa will host the "Power Rangers: Power Up!" tour on April 15 and 16.

The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers will perform an interactive live show, training visitors to become heroes like the Power Rangers. The event will also feature training stations where "future Rangers" can continue their preparation for morphin' time.

The shows will be held both days during the weekend at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Meet & greet sessions with Blue Ranger or Yellow Ranger will follow each show.

While walk-ins are welcome, visitors can reserve their tickets for the show and meet & greet by clicking here. There is no cost to attend the event.

The Power Rangers TV show has been on the air in various iterations for 30 years and has produced over 900 episodes to date. Haim Saban created the series and launched it in 1993 with Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary with Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Once & Always, a Netflix anniversary special that will be released on April 19.

Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury, the 30th season of the show, will premiere exclusively on Netflix in the United States in the fall of 2023.
