Beautiful today before much needed rain arrives this weekend
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Islands of Brilliance, an organization dedicated to giving people on the autism spectrum a better learning experience, is hosting their [email protected] program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, today.
The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the UWM Lubar Entrepreneur Center and features the organization's three most popular programs all in one 90-minute workshop. Activities include designing and sharing ideas based on a given subject; a time for creating stories on participants' favorite things and some drawing and art time to wrap up the event.
Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend and no supplies are required to participate. The cost for attendance is $12.50 per person.
