Investigation underway after husband, wife found dead inside Sheboygan home
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sheboygan police are investigating after the bodies of two people were found inside a home near Euclid Avenue and 5th Street.
According to police, a neighbor reported they had not seen their neighbors since Monday, and a note was taped to the mailbox.
Officers responded to the home Wednesday, Jan. 3 and a note to Sheboygan police was located with a key to allow officers inside the residence.
Police say once inside the home, officers located the bodies of a 66-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife.
A preliminary investigation, according to officials, shows both died of gunshot wounds.
Police also located instructions for funeral arrangements and the firearm believed to be involved.
The deaths remain under investigation.
Sheboygan police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
