Illinois Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Walworth County

On Saturday, October 15 at approximately 3:09 PM emergency officials were dispatched to a report of a motorcycle crash on South Road approximately 3/10 of a mile north of Highway 50, in the Town of Lyons, according to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office. 

Authorities located a red Boss Hoss motorcycle lying on its side. The driver of the Boss Hoss motorcycle was identified as 57-year-old Timothy Adkins of McHenry, IL. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Preliminary investigation revealed Adkins was traveling south on South road and lost control while attempting to negotiate a curve. Adkin's motorcycle hit a second southbound motorcycle. The second motorcycle was driven 38-year-old Frank Adams also from McHenry, IL. Both Adams and his passenger, 36-year-old Christine Mann of Orlando, FL. were not injured. 

The Crash remains under investigation by the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
