Ice installment begins ahead of Milwaukee Admirals' upcoming season

The first game of the Milwaukee Admirals' 2022-23 season is a little more than a month away.

To get ready, ice is being installed at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Laying ice is a precise process, according to the Admirals President John Greenberg.

Workers will be layering paint and water until the ice is about an inch thick.

Training camp starts on Oct. 3, and "the Ads" first home game is Oct. 22.
