MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- There have been no evidence of shots fired following an incident on the interstate Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses had reported hearing shots fired on the freeway at I-43 SB and Fond du Lac Avenue and saw a vehicle strike a median wall.
Traffic was diverted off the freeway from 12:40 to 2:10 p.m. to search for and recover evidence.
Upon investigation, detectives found no evidence of bullet casings and no ShotSpotter alerts.
No victims have made a complaint and no shooting injuries were reported to local hospitals.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) – The southbound lanes of Interstate 43 at Fond Du Lac Ave. are closed due to shots fired on the freeway.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department says the incident happened around 12:40 p.m.
No injuries have been reported. The incident is under investigation.
