Gas prices increasing in Milwaukee amid conflict in Middle East
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's time to rev up a fleet of forklifts and trucks in the name of fighting hunger.
Hunger Task Force recently transitioned its food bank operations to the organization's new headquarters in West Milwaukee, and you better believe they are hard at work.
Right now, the Hunger Task Force (HTF) is in phase three of its "Building Our Strength to Serve" campaign, and it needs that last bit of help to finish the campaign strong.
"With our food bank operations now operating at 100% from this new location, $1.1 million goal to go, we are calling on the community to help us be the closers for this project and begin the future of Hunger Task Force in this new facility and service to the Milwaukee community," said Jonathan Hansen, HTF director of development.
The warehouse currently holds three million pounds of food, spread over 126 lanes of product.
