Hunger Task Force to help FoodShare recipients replace lost food

MILWAUKEE -- Several severe thunderstorms ripped through Southeast Wisconsin on June 30, 2014. The storms left about 90,000 We Energies customers without power. The Hunger Task Force is offering to help replace food bought using food stamps that spoiled during the power outage.


Households who report the loss of food purchased with FoodShare within 10 days are eligible for FoodShare replacement. Hunger Task Force staff are available to assist with filling out the Request for Replacement FoodShare Benefits form.

Coggs Center, 1220 W. Vliet St.


Robles Center, 910 W. Mitchell St.


UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave.


 


Request for Replacement FoodShare Benefits forms are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
