WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- More than 700 bicyclists are enjoying Wisconsin's bike trails.
The group started their 235-mile weekend journey from Riverside Park in La Crosse to the Milwaukee River.
It's not just Wisconsinites pedaling across the state.
People from 25 different states are on the trip, along with one rider from Mexico.
This trip is organized by the Wisconsin Bike Federation.
The group's leader says it's a great way to show off the state.
"I'm so excited because this year, Ride Across Wisconsin is on five of our great state trails and so we really want to get the word out to folks that Wisconsin is a great place to come and take a cycling vacation," said Kirsten Finn, executive director of the Wisconsin Bike Federation.
Some bikers will finish the ride in one day, others are stopping for the night in Wisconsin Dells.
The ride is a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Federation.
