Hundreds gather to discuss and debate the future of O'Donnell Park

MILWAUKEE-About 200 people gathered Wednesday night to discuss the future of O'Donnell Park

Northwestern Mutual would like to transform the parking structure into a larger parking area with green space.

The company would also create pedestrian paths and a cafe that would be open to the public.

Northwestern also promises to improve the park and create hundreds of jobs.

Critics say while the plan might sound good, what's the guarantee it won't change in the future and the promises left unfulfilled.

And then what happens if a once public space is then categorized for private commercial use?
