House Fire in Fond du Lac

Several people are displaced after a house fire in Fond du Lac.
It happened just before 10 Monday night at 4th Street and Fond du Lac Avenue.
When crews arrived on the scene they saw smoke and found flames in the laundry room.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire, but not before it caused smoke and heat damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the fire department says the origin appears to be the dryer.
No one was hurt and everyone was able to get out.
The Red Cross is now helping people who lived there.
