Home on Milwaukee’s north side damaged by early morning fire

A 1-and-a-half story wood frame home near N 71st and W Fiebrantz Avenue in Milwaukee received over $109,000 damage to the building and its contents due to an early morning fire Friday.   According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the fire, reported around 12:45 AM, originated in the kitchen of the home.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.   The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the residents of the home.
