Hollander Chocolate Co. opens in Port Washington with chocolate lab, school and cafe

NOW: Hollander Chocolate Co. opens in Port Washington with chocolate lab, school and cafe

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hollander Chocolate Co. has been making chocolate powders, caramel sauces and more in SE Wisconsin for a decade. Doug Podzilni, Alden Kelley and Kurt Blum started to company as a way to provide high-quality products that were lacking in the market for coffee and hot cocoa drinks.

Now, in a new space in Port Washington, you can see the lab where the flavors are created and enjoy an espresso or drip drink at the new Tulip Cafe. It's meant to be a fully immersive experience into the world of Hollander Chocolate with classes that also teach about coffee and chocolate pairings.

The grand opening of Tulip Cafe is Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7 a.m. You can visit six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.

Every Tuesday at 2 p.m. will be free tastings where the public can try out the newest items being made.
