Holiday Shopping: 2014 store return policies

 Best Buy

Purchases made between November 1-December 31, 2014 have an extended return period through January 15, 2015, excluding items purchased with a third party contract, such as mobile phones and protection plans.  Items purchased outside of that holiday window are subject to a 15 day period for full refund as long as they have the original packaging, proof of purchase and ID.  Full policy is found here.

Target

Most unopened items can be returned within 90 days for a full refund or exchange.  Open items, damaged items, or those without a receipt may be denied a refund.  Full policy found here.

Kohl's

Kohl's offers a \"No Questions Asked - Hassle-Free\" return policy.  There are no time restrictions on returns.  No receipt is needed if you used a Kohl's charge card.  Full policy found here.

Walmart

Returns are accepted within 90 days of purchase, except on most electronics, which must be returned within 15 days with a receipt.  Movies, games, and music must be unopened, unless they are defective.  Full policy found here.

Macy's

Returns can be made with a receipt at any time following purchase.  If you do not have a proof of purchase, store credit will be offered for the item's lowest selling price within the last 180 days.  Full policy found here.

Toys\"R\"Us

Returns may be made within 90 days of purchase if you have a receipt.  Items must be in new, or like-new condition and in original packaging.  Full policy found here.
