Hit and run accident claims the life of 54-year-old Milwaukee man

A 54-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit and run driver around 10:10 PM Sunday at W Capitol Drive and N Sherman Boulevard.   According to the Milwaukee Police, the preliminary investigation indicates the man was walking across the street when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.   MPD Detectives and the Accident Reconstruction unit are investigating the incident.  Anyone who may have information about the hit and run accident is asked to call the MPD at 414-935-7360.
