MILWAUKEE (CBS58) -- Reggaeton duo Gego y Nony will perform at Summerfest this year and will be on the same stage as Lunay Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. in the Miller Lite Oasis stage.
Gego was born in Puerto Rico and Nony was born in Milwaukee. The two are brothers and started making music when they were teenagers.
They have an album that features the single "Frontea" which has been viewed over 60,000 times on YouTube.
"It feels super good, it's like a dream come true," said Nony about their participation in Summerfest.
The duo's music is 100 percent clean.
"We are going to keep it clean and I think that's what makes our music super special," Gego said. "The reggaeton genre has the stigma that it's vulgar, very sexual and I think we are the difference."
