Children's books are cool, just ask the Fonz. The actor who played the Happy Days character is the keynote speaker today at Sharp Literacy's A Novel Event.
Sharp incorporates visual arts and different hands-on-experiences into 31 of Milwaukee's most at-risk schools. A Novel Event is the group's big fund-raiser and Henry Winkler is this year's guest of honor. Winkler, who is dyslexic, has co-written 17 books for children. After his speech he held a book-signing. The event is taking place at the Pfister Hotel.
