Heavy Snowfall Helps Private Plow Companies

CBS 58—Monday’s heavy snowfall made for a busy day for area snow plow companies.

In Waukesha County, crews with Hanson Landscaping started the day at 2 am and plan to work straight through Tuesday morning.

The owner, Joe Hanson, says they had a lot of business at the start of this winter, but after a warm February he was starting to think Spring was on its way.

“I do appreciate the business for us but we were trying to switch gears and get ready to do landscaping work,” Hanson said. “So this is kind of just a little bit of a nuisance, but again I like to keep the guys busy so we’ll take the money when we can get it.”

Hanson says he’s  hoping this will be the last big snowfall, but he’s prepared if it does snow again.
