Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Joey
The heat is back! Temperatures on Thursday will warm quickly through the 70s and 80s with highs for most of southeast Wisconsin during the afternoon hours reaching the 90s. A few northern and western communities may top out in the upper 80s.
We've already had five days this June with highs at or above 90* and one of those hit 100*! Five days in the 90s in June is tied with June 2021 for the most over the last five years. But we likely get to 6 on Thursday!
The heat is going to come with some big wind with gusts today out of the southwest gusting to 30 mph. The wind will take a break Friday and Saturday but there will be some lake influence with some easterly winds during the afternoon hours both days.
Thursday's heat won't come with too much humidity but expect dew points to feel at least a little bit sticky in the middle 60s. That humidity will stick around for Friday before dropping as we go into the holiday weekend.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the heat.
