MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Potawatomi Casino's Heart of Canal Street campaign raised more than $1 million this year.
The money will benefit 31 local charities. One of those charities is Lake Valley Camp which was given a check for more than $35,000.
Every year the casino names a charity of choice to receive the biggest contribution.
This year, Pathfinders was chosen. The group will use the $100,000 donation for its fight against child sex trafficking.
