HEAR Wisconsin Upgrades Clinic

HEAR Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization that provides critical services to children and adults with hearing loss.

HEAR is now partnering with the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Approximately 48 million people in the U.S. suffer from hearing loss and 500 thousand of them live in Wisconsin.

“We remodeled our existing clinic to make it more accessible, to put in state-of-the-art equipment and now it's our job to make sure everyone knows about it,” says Richard Phalen the executive director of HEAR Wisconsin.

This new equipment includes the latest hearing aid test and fitting technology, along with audiologist and technical specialists from the Medical College of Wisconsin available for visitors.

HEAR Wisconsin prides itself on allowing clients and their families to make their own decisions on how they cope with hearing loss and choose the best forms of communication for their individual needs.
