UPDATE: OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) – After receiving a suspicious letter, the Oak Creek Police Department is having the Milwaukee Fire Hazmat test it.
The OCPD says the envelope was addressed with the department’s address, but did not have a name associated with the police department.
Police say they contacted the FBI who advised calling in a hazmat team was the best course of action.
According to Oak Creek Police, there is no threat to the public at this time and business went along as usual.

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Hazmat team has responded to the Oak Creek Police Department.
CBS 58 has a crew on scene who reports that there is a large police presence. The Police Department received a suspicious letter in the mail that the Hazmat crew is testing.
A number of police and fire departments have been evacuated across the state of Wisconsin the past few days after receiving suspicious packages. In some cases, employees had to be given doses of Narcan.
It is unknown if anyone at the Oak Creek Police Department got sick or was injured.
