Harley-Davidson hosts annual 'Ride Home' in support of Fisher House
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Harley-Davidson wrapped up "The Ride Home," their fourth annual Labor Day weekend celebration hosted at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
The event featured live music, stunt performers, and a bunch of rides around the area.
The main event was the Big Unit's Annual Poker Run where more than 1,000 bikers and their riders set off from the museum to enjoy Wisconsin.
Harley says it's the perfect weekend for all the fun.
"It is awesome, there's just something amazing hearing the rumble, seeing the community and the excitement. Everyone's going to have a great day, it's beautiful Wisconsin weather," said Megan Suardin, Harley-Davidson Experience Centers director.
The yearly ride raises money for the Fisher House, a place for families to stay at the Milwaukee VA while a service member gets treatment.
