Haribo to buy 136 acres for factory in Pleasant Prairie

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The plan commission in Pleasant Prairie and gummy bear maker Haribo have approved the sale of property for a new factory.

The company will buy 136 acres of land in a new industrial park near 120th Avenue and County Highway C.

The Village Board still has to approve the plans.

Haribo is expected to build the factory in 2019 and start production in 2021.
