Hang onto The Umbrellas A Little Longer

We had a good soaking rain overnight into Monday.  But we're not done yet.  A storm system will keep rain, and possibly storms, in the forecast through Monday night.  And then we get a nice break of Tuesday.

Anytime after lunch we're fair game for the rain.  The heaviest looks to be during the evening commute through the mid-evening hours.  Watch for possible ponding on the roads too.  Hopefully any and all leaves have been cleared from the storm drains.  Between a half of an inch and an inch can be expected.

On Tuesday, high pressure is the name of the game before a few quick-moving systems give us the chance at a few flurries Thursday and Friday along with more seasonable air.  We could also see a bout of wintry precipitation by Sunday and Monday.  After all, December begins on Thursday, and it's just a matter of time before we see snow.  In fact, on average, we receive just over ten and a half inches of snow during the month.

Now is a good time to download the free CBS58 weather app before the winter weather starts to occur.  Plus, if you download pictures and send them to us, you have the chance of winning a free AcuRite weather station.  We're giving one away a week throughout the month of December.
