Halloween magic and mystery at 'The Hollow of Phantom Lake' in Mukwonago
MUKWONAGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's time to celebrate Halloween safely for many kids as The Hollow at Phantom Lake continues for another weekend. There are safety measures in place and limited tickets this year in hopes the outdoor walk, with time slots for distancing, waivers, masks, etc. allows families a low-risk, non-scare, option this fall.
Please help support the Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Scholarship fund with a stroll through the outdoor, socially distanced, family friendly Jack O'Lantern wonderland! Over 1000 hand carved illuminated pumpkins adorn our enchanted forest trails covered in pixie dust. From black cats and broomsticks to spiders and hooting owls, The Hollow promises to stir the imagination and rekindle the nostalgia of the season. Discover the mystery and wonder of our unique glowing Jack O'Lantern art installations against the back drop of nature by night, the only one of its kind in Wisconsin!
The Hollow will be held this one more weekend at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, S110W30240 YMCA Camp Road Mukwonago, WI 53149. With its rolling hills, scenic trails, and haunting waters, PLYC is the perfect location to host this fall spectacle. Dating back to 1898, it is Wisconsin's oldest youth camp. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the camp's scholarship program.
